It's official...Day 1

We are back and ready to "bring it." Here goes our 90 day story! Yesterday we went grocery shopping for the food on the food plan and began eating off the plan today. We have decided to make the food plan a trial because the grocery bill was pretty expensive. We are hoping that after making some of the meals we will find some of them to make extra so we can continue the meal plan. The food today has been so good: Mushroom Omlet (with egg whites, green onions, mushrooms & tomatoes) Protein bar, Chef Salad, cottage cheese, pistachios and for dinner (which I am about to make) is salmon, red pepper soup and asparagus. I will say that with all this yummy food there is not many carbs so I have felt hungry a few times today. It also may be that I am supposed to be eating on level 2 but it seemed like so much food I have gone more towards level 1 so if it continues next week I will eat more.

A quick note about the eating plan: There are 3 phases and each one adds more carbs we are on phase 1 which is the fat burning phase.

Nate said he has no complaints of being hungry today however he hasn't followed the meal plan completely but will do so tomorrow!

We just completed our first workout (chest and back.) Nate did a good job but had to stop half way so he didn't overwork his back. With his back injury he has to ease into it and not do too much at once. I was able to work myself hard...to failure to be exact and I know I will be hurting tomorrow. I feel great completing the workout and can't wait to see and feel the progress.

Wednesdays will be our official weight check day and we will do measurements at the beginning of each phase (every 4 weeks.) We will also post pictures every phase so stay tuned.
