Day 8

Today was weigh in day... I keep stats posted under the weekly stats tab but am happy to say I lost 3.2lbs. Nate didn't want to weigh himself this week and said he wants to weigh in every other week so stay tuned for his.

We did chest and arms and abs today and had fun doing our workout this afternoon in the garage with the kids vs. late after they go to bed. Our son was hilarious watching us and trying to do some of the moves and what a great way to teach children exercise. When we do chest and arms we do LOTS of push-ups and pull-ups. We are getting stronger and can measure that by how many more we can do and we always push ourselves to failure. The pull-ups are hard and we don't like them very much. Personally I don't like them because I can't do them with out assisting myself up so then I don't feel like I am accomplishing it, however I keep getting up there and doing it and the day I can do just 1 all by myself I will know the assisted one's payed off.

The food is good now that I am in the swing of things. Nate has less body fat than I do and is experiencing fatigue (from the lack of carbs) so I have added in some extra whole grains for him and hopefully that will help. As for cheating we both have been really good, I will confess to a couple wheat thins and whole wheat pretzels but other that we have followed the program.
