Day 3

Hooray we made it another day! Today we did shoulders and arms and I just love, love, love this workout. The exercises are fun and I can really feel my arms working out. Nate really likes this workout to but still had to watch out for his back, about half way through Kenadi got fussy and his back was starting to "talk to him" so he checked out and did daddy duty. Because Kenadi was still fussing after the workout video (which is an hour) we decided to put off the ab video that is another 15 minutes and do it in the morning (WE PROMISE!)

Eating today was good it is fun trying new things. Some of the things we ate aren't things that I would want to cook if we had guest coming over but it is really healthy food that I don't mind eating and some is really good. Breakfast was a chicken scramble, fresh squeezed mango and pineapple juice, and turkey bacon (it was really yummy!!) Lunch was a chicken salad and protein powder (another yummy one.) Dinner was halibut with homemade pesto sauce, wild rice, green beans and vegetable soup (it was not bad but definitely not something to make for company.) The interesting thing about food that we have noticed was Nate didn't crave anything sweet today (he normally likes to have at least one sweet a day.) I have not craved any sweets but catch myself wanting to grab a snack/cracker that I am feeding Blake, not so much because I want to eat it but more out of habit. It was a real eye opener to know that some of our eating is strictly a habit!

Well we are pooped and off to bed so we can take on day 4.

  1. Sounds like you are working really hard! Good idea to make the meals ahead of time. The menus sound delicious.
